After the end of the regular season deadline, your team's aging ceremony will be handled as soon as possible (see the Aging page for details).
The draft will go LIVE as soon as the admin sets the draft order.
Draft pick deadlines will be enforced via a timer on the site. The deadlines are as follows: Round 1: 4 hours, Round 2: 2 hours, Round 3: 1 hour, Round 4: 30 minutes, Round 5: 15 minutes. It is highly suggested that you use the AUTO PICK function.
NOTE: The following automated phases and deadlines DO NOT apply to the 1966 initial draft offseason. In 1966, free agent claims and cuts happen concurrently with a 1-hour rolling clock, and the admin determines when the league is ready to flip to 1967. Automated phases begin following the 1967 draft.
Once the draft concludes (starting with the 1967 draft), the league moves through three automated phases. Deadlines are scheduled for 8:00 PM ET.
Starts after the draft concludes and rookie rolls are complete. The Phase 1 deadline is set to the next 8:00 PM ET that is at least 48 hours after the draft ends (typically a 48–72 hour window).
Teams must be under the salary cap by this deadline. Free Agency is CLOSED during this phase.
Starts at 8:00 PM ET after Phase 1 ends.
Claim award timing: When you submit a Phase 2 claim, it will be awarded 20 hours after submission, unless the Phase 2 deadline is less than 20 hours away (in that case it is awarded at the Phase 2 deadline). This means claims placed within the final 20-hour window all clear together at the deadline.
Phase 2 remains open for at least 48 hours (and may be longer based on league settings), with the deadline scheduled for the next 8:00 PM ET that satisfies the minimum duration.
Starts at 8:00 PM ET after Phase 2 ends.
During this “Fast Finish” phase, a rolling clock is in effect (typically 1 hour, based on league settings). If you place a bid and no one outbids you within the rolling window, you win the player immediately.
To complete the offseason, all teams must be under the salary cap and have a full roster (all starter spots filled). If an owner is unavailable, the Commissioner has the authority to make necessary cuts or claims to ensure the league can proceed to the new season.
Trading can begin after the draft goes LIVE. Trading is allowed until Phase 1 ends.
